QLD education and careers landscape

Queensland are committed to improving the outcomes of students, teachers and principals in government schools. Every student succeeding – State Schools Strategy 2018-2022 will be built around collaborative empowerment, with priority status for boosting Year 12 certification rates and closing the gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

The Gold Coast will be abuzz in 2018 as the city hosts the Commonwealth Games, which will not only bring an influx of tourism but stimulate job growth over the next decade. Among the major projects that will boost employment is Gold Coast Light Rail Stage Two.

Stages of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) continue to roll out nation-wide, providing a steady increase of jobs in the health and aged care sector, a theme examined in the upcoming 2018 edition of The Good Careers Guide.

To learn more about the education and careers landscape in Queensland, as well as on a national scale, ensure you attend the Gold Coast ACS Seminar.
