Jum Lamont began his career in broadcast media, after completing a Bachelor of Media and Communications. He spent a number of years working as both a television reporter and presenter in Australia and the UK, before starting his own consultancy called Jump Start Communications, as well as working as a director at Fusion Graduate Consultancy.
Jum is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential to become confident individuals with strong self-expression and excellent communication skills – skills that are vital in the ever-evolving job market.
At the Seminars, Jum will lead a workshop discussion about what employers are looking for in job candidates in a 21st century job market, as well as the fundamental skills required for educational success and job-readiness such as effective and authentic communication, personal brand and positive growth-mindset.
Jump Start is a joint initiative combining the skills and expertise of Jump Start Communications and Good Education Group.
Jump Start helps young people achieve their full potential through the development of vital life skills required to ensure a successful transition into life after education.
We do this by delivering energetic, interactive workshops that introduce students to the fundamentals of effective communication, personal brand, entrepreneurship and other integral employability skills, all underpinned by the Core Skills for Work Developmental Framework.
Jump Start works with schools to create tailored face-to-face and online skill-building programs aligned to your school’s core values, learning objectives and student needs, and supported by the expertise of our comprehensive team of program developers and facilitators.
