While I agree with the value of WIL, the piece does not seem to recognise that many courses can lead to a wide variety of early and later career outcomes, so it is naive to think that it might be possible to identify placements which are are appropriate for a pupil’s degree. Also grammar is important, "There’s just not enough to go around" should have a plural verb.
